Antique, mid 19th century, hardcover book, decoratively bound in full leather with embossed and black stamped design and gold gilded and embossed text to the front and back covers as well as the spine face in over all fine condition for its age. Exterior has only minor and minimal age, use, handling or shelf wear including, not not limited to, some minor spotting or discoloration here and there to the leather as well as minor rubs at outer corners and edges. Interior of the book has occasional foxing which is more moderate on the first and last several pages with old pencil notation on blank front endpaper which follows the marbled endpapers. Outer page fore edges are gold gilded on all three sides. There appears to have been a green cloth bookmarker which is missing with a tuft of it remaining at the upper inner middle page fore edges. Book’s binding is tight and very well intact and the book is complete with all pages present and none coming loose, detached or missing. Book has no odors.
Book totals 346 pages, measures approximately 9 1/2 x 6 1/2 x 2 inches and weighs about 3 1/2 pounds.
