Beautiful and exceptionally delicate Edwardian blouse constructed from fine sheer white fabric with an elaborate floral whitework embroidered yoke, lace/net insertion, pintucking and lace trim. Features a high neckline, long sheer sleeves, gathered waist, tiny period buttons and finely worked buttonholes. Interior construction is beautifully finished with French seams throughout.
Reportedly found in a Pacific Heights, San Francisco estate/discarded collection alongside other early-20th-century material.
Condition: Authentic antique condition with age-related discoloration/spotting, loose threads, and deterioration/loss to portions of the lace and trim. Please examine all photos carefully. Sold as a collectible antique textile; too delicate for regular wear.
