$149.99

Antique matched pair of F.E. Myers & Bro. cast iron barn door rollers/hangers from Ashland, Ohio. These heavy early farm and architectural hardware pieces were designed for use with sliding barn doors, allowing the door to travel along an overhead track while the enclosed roller assembly helped keep it securely in place. Both retain their original long steel mounting straps and substantial cast iron roller housings. Raised lettering remains visible across the castings, including the F.E. Myers & Bro. identification, Ashland, Ohio location, “STAYON O.K.” designation, and additional patent-related markings on the opposite side. The heavy construction, exposed roller wheels, raised lettering and more than a century of surface patina give this pair an especially strong industrial and agricultural appearance.Today they would work equally well as authentic early barn hardware, architectural salvage, farmhouse decor or additions to an antique tool and agricultural equipment collection. This example includes:• Matching pair of antique barn door rollers/hangers

Myers & Bro. were producing rugged roller systems for the real thing. These hangers were built to carry the weight of large wooden agricultural doors along overhead tracks, where dependable hardware mattered far more than appearance.More than a century later, the raised lettering, heavy cast iron and decades of patina have turned what began as purely practical farm equipment into a collectible piece of American industrial history.
