Antique French Man Miniature Portrait Painting Mourning Memento w/ Hair 19th C. For Sale

A wonderful early 19th Century double sided frame with a miniature painting of a handsome young gentleman with an earing, likely French in origin. The other side displays a small lock of hair to be worn or displayed as a mourning memento. Very well rendered and set in period metal frame, non magnetic and likely copper alloy. Good condition overall for age with light wear surface wear, small loss to top of portrait, light toning, glass with typical surface scratches and one small chip, etc. Please see all photos for condition.
