“Photogr. u. Verlag v. Carl Brack & Keller in Berlin.”A particularly attractive Imperial German royal portrait, with the young prince in uniform beside his mother. The large format and elaborate gilt publisher’s mount give it considerably more presence than the commonly encountered later royal postcards.Condition: Original antique condition with age toning, edge/corner wear and a noticeable vertical tear extending downward from the upper edge into the area of the Empress’s hair. The tear does not extend through either subject’s face. Reverse has a few small marks.
