Wonderful antique German miniature all-bisque doll, measuring approximately 1½ inches (4 cm) tall.Based on her size, construction and styling, she appears to date to approximately 1910–1920s and is attributed to Carl Horn of Germany. Because the doll is unmarked, the maker cannot be guaranteed.Features include hand-painted facial details, molded and painted blond hair, wire-jointed arms and legs, painted stockings with blue bands, dark painted shoes, and a wonderful tiny antique crocheted dress.The doll and clothing show expected age-related wear, including discoloration, surface/paint wear and wear to the crochet. Please examine the photographs closely for condition. No cleaning or restoration has been attempted.Measurements: approximately 1½” tall.A very appealing early miniature for a collection of German bisque dolls, Carl Horn dolls, mignonettes, dollhouse miniatures or antique dolls.Condition: Antique/pre-owned condition with age-related wear.
