Up for sale is a beautiful 1920s/1930s antique German tinplate toy sewing machine, featuring highly striking and vibrant Art Deco geometric decals.
Likely manufactured by Casige (Carl Sieper Gevelsberg) given the distinct frame geometry and 1920s Art Deco stenciling.
This little machine is an incredible cosmetic survivor. While many of these toy machines suffer from severe paint flaking over the decades, the red, green, and gold stenciling on this piece remains remarkably bright and crisp. It makes an absolute showpiece for any vintage sewing room or antique toy collection.

Mechanics: The hand wheel rotates completely freely and smoothly activates both the needle bar and the lower under-bed linkage.
Stitching: This machine is being sold untested for stitching as it is currently missing its vintage round-shank needle.
Cosmetics: The nickel-plated bed plate is stamped \"MADE IN GERMANY\" and shows only light, age-appropriate oxidation. The frame has minimal paint wear for its age.
