Wedgwood Queen’s Ware triangular vase, c. 1880
A slim, tapering creamware vase in an uncommon triangular form, the mouth flared into a scalloped, three-lobed rim. Deep chocolate-brown glaze is scattered with gilt leaves and blossoms; across the middle runs a raised band of granulated gold, painted with raspberries, blackberries, pale blossoms, and autumn foliage in red, green, and rose. White glazed interior, gilt rim and foot. Red printed Portland Vase mark. Rubin Collection.
