Beautiful antique Japanese mixed-metal trinket box dating from the Meiji period, crafted with a brass body and a decorative copper relief panel onthe lid.

The lid features an intricate scenic design depicting Mount Fuji with birds, flowers and foliage in raised copper relief, framed within a brass surround. The sides are finely engraved with traditional floral and bamboo motifs
