Beautiful set of 3 antique/vintage Japanese celadon porcelain plates featuring Mt. Fuji, flowing water and traditional landscape decoration.
Each plate has a pale celadon-green glaze with raised white Mt. Fuji, hand-painted green, brown and blue decoration, and an underglaze-blue square mark on the reverse. The backs also feature the characteristic blue circle around the foot.
These appear consistent with early 20th-century Japanese Nabeshima/Arita-area celadon wares, approximately Meiji/Taisho era, circa 1900–1930. Exact maker and age are not guaranteed; please examine the detailed photos of the marks and construction.
