This is an 8x10ft French Aubusson-style needlepoint area rug featuring a striking black background with framed floral medallions in shades of pink, rose, and green. Made totally in wool the bottom was covered with black cotton fabric. Probably mid 20th century. Manufacture is unknown. No damages. And colors well preserved
