Beautiful matching set of 6 vintage Noritake 6.5” bread & butter / dessert plates, featuring ornate raised gold floral and scroll decoration.Each plate bears the green Noritake M-in-Wreath / Made in Japan backstamp associated with early Noritake/Morimura production.The pattern features extensive gold decoration with raised floral motifs, roses, scrolling vines, decorative medallions and a repeating geometric border against white porcelain. The elaborate gilding gives these considerably more detail than typical gold-trimmed Noritake dinnerware.Condition: Five plates are free of observed chips or cracks. One plate has a small chip along the outer rim, clearly photographed. The set shows varying age-related wear, fading and discoloration to the gold decoration.
