A beautiful belt consisting of interconnected hinged brass panels joined by interlocking metal segments with distinctive teardrop/keyhole cutouts. The front face is decorated with raised, embossed medallions with colorful red and blue enamel inlay. The crest seen in the buckle centers around the official star and crescent symbol of the late Ottoman Empire.
The condition is excellent, antique.
