Antique Small Single Fusee Balloon Cased Mantel Clock By W Wright London.
This lovely antique single fusee mantel clock has a beautiful “balloon” shaped case. The case is mahogany with lovely colour and grain. Finally the case is finished by a moulding around the bottom edge and four shaped wooden feet to the bottom.
The dial is then painted and set out in black Roman numerals with a thin ring of marks to the outside marking the minutes. The centre of the dial is then signed by the maker “W Wright London”. The dial is then finished by a lovely bevelled glass set into a brass bezel as well as two shaped hands.
The movement is then wound from the front and accessed from the back. It is a fully working fusee example of the upmost quality and comes complete with its regulating pendulum, travel nut, and winding key.
It measures approximately:
- 11.75” / 30cm Tall.
- 7.5” / 19cm Wide.
- 4.75” / 12cm Deep.
