This is a beautiful unusual antique“T & V / Limoges / France / Déposé\" porcelain bonbon or serving dish.The underside identifies Tressemann & Vogt, a maker of Limoges porcelain in France. “Déposé” means the mark or design was registered. Dates from approximately1895–1910.
This elegant handled dish features hand-painted yellow roses with pink centers, green leaves and delicate thorny stems. The softly shaded green and blush-pink background is finished with a scalloped gold-trimmed rim and gold loop handle. Decorative molded detailing surrounds the exterior. Concave affects to the sides.
Measures approximately 6¼ inches across the bowl, excluding the handle.
Excellent antique condition with no cracks or major chips. There is very little age-related wear to the gold trim on the handle. Please examine all photographs carefully, as they are part of the description.
