Antique Early American Pattern Glass (EAPG) bowl by Tarentum Glass Company, produced circa 1898, in the Cornell pattern. This example features a deeper, richer green color than typically seen—noticeably more saturated and especially attractive in person. Crisp geometric and cross-hatched panels are finished with a scalloped rim and original gold gilt accents.
There is expected wear to the gold gilt, including thinning and loss along high points. Please see photos for roughness along portions of the rim and a small base chip, all clearly shown. Typical late-19th-century manufacturing characteristics such as mold lines and surface texture are present.
Despite noted condition points, the bowl displays very well and retains strong visual impact due to its color and pattern.
