ANTIQUE DRESS & SKIRT & BODICE SETe r a : late 1800s early 1900sf a b r i c : lightweight cottonc o l o r : black, whitef a s t e n e r s : hook & eye, buttonsd e s i g n e r : unknownd e t a i l s : A rare 3 piece Edwardian set that consists of a dress and a skirt with matching bodice. The skirt has a solid black top with ruffle details and a bottom half in the black and white polka dot style fabric. It has a high waist and closes with a hook and eye in the back. The matching bodice has long tapered sleeves with pleating details, a high neckline with black lace floral detail and a front panel that closes with hook and eyes. Matching dress has long cuffed sleeves, tiny mother of pearl button closures up the front, a cinched waist with hook and eye closure, gathering and pleating details at the waist and along the chest and a full o n d i t i o n : Good overall condition - some light fading to the black color. (although I did lighten these photos slightly to show detail), there is a small hole in the skirt (see photo), and the waist on the bodice shows some wear. It needs a bit of TLC in terms of adding or securing some of the hook and eye i z i n g : this would fit a XXS best - it\'s shown here on an XS mannequin - but please use measurements below for ideal fit. NOTE: The dress is slightly bigger.
