Antique “Lady with Lyre” metal figurine, believed to have originally served as a mantel clock topper, dating approximately to 1880–1910.
The composition depicts a seated woman in a long, draped gown beside a lyre decorated with a wreath, likely representing an allegory of music or poetry. Features include a detailed hairstyle, flowing folds of fabric, and an ornamental stool with twisted crossbars.
Believed to be cast spelter, a zinc-based alloy, with a gold-tone finish. The maker is unidentified. Approximately 7.5 inches (19 cm) tall; please see photographs for measurements.
