Beautifulantique Victorian chatelaine perfume/scent bottle, measuring approximately5 inches long. The elongated clear crystal bottle has several different cut patterns, giving it an especially decorative and distinctive appearance.
The hinged metal top is elaborately ornamented and set with alarge faceted purple amethyst gemstone. The cap opens to reveal the originalground glass stopper, which is present and fits into the bottle neck. A small side fitting/loop at the neck would have allowed the perfume bottle to be suspended from a chatelaine, chain, or similar attachment.
The bottle is inexcellent antique condition, particularly impressive considering its age. The crystal appears bright and clear, with the ground stopper intact. The metal shows the expected light age-related patina and wear.
