Up for sale is a stunning, authentic late-Victorian era American parlor table / fern stand crafted from highly desirable quarter-sawn tiger oak. Built roughly between 1880 and 1910, this elegant piece features a tall, slender silhouette perfectly designed to elevate potted plants, sculptures, or decorative antique ceramics next to a parlor window.This table boasts incredible visual character, featuring intricate machine-cut fretwork detailing along the upper apron and iconic turned spindle legs. A matching lower shelf with a beautiful scalloped edge provides excellent stability and additional display space.Adding to its exceptional provenance and history, the raw underside of the tabletop features a beautifully preserved, original hand-written cursive family signature reading \"E. C. McCasland\"—a wonderful piece of American history.

Structural Integrity: Excellent. The table is sturdy, structurally sound, and completely intact with no loose joints or missing spindle components.
Finish & Patina: Displays a gorgeous, rich golden-brown oak patina across the tabletop and lower shelf highlighting the bold tiger oak ray flecks.
Historical Notes: This piece was lovingly cared for some paint remnants from spilled paint. Minor, faint remnants of old historical paint residue are visible under close inspection inside a few of the deepest crevices/pocket holes underneath, which only serves to confirm its long history and authentic age.
