This 1920\'s Effanbee Baby Grumpy has a composition flange head, disc jointed compo arms, compo lower legs, and a cloth body. \"174\" is incised on his neck. Grumpy\'s beautifully made outfit includes a silk-lined cotton jacket, matching knickers with buckles, belt, ribbed knee socks, (which are sewn to his body,so I couldn\'t remove them to show his legs) and suede cloth center snap shoes. He also wears antique knit one-piece underwear to which is attached a dicky. Grumpy has been played with and has paint wear, including a couple spots on his face,a little missing left eye paint,a bit of finger paint, and hair rubs. His knit underwear has scattered holes and his torso has soil. His \"Mama\" voice box is not working.
