Single Vintage Antique window from a Tudor Style home built in the 1940s for a home in the Los Angeles Hills.
Replaced by modern windows several years ago and are ready for a new home and must go due to the home selling soon.
Original diamond pane glass (not beveled). A google search on the time/location of being made, suggests glass is single-strength clear float glass or cylinder (sheet glass) .
Unsure of the wood type. Google search son time/location of being made, suggests its is either Old-Growth Douglas Fir or Redwood.
Hand-soldered lead cames, likely made of pure lead or an alloy.
Hardware pictured is likely not original, but potentially some of the hinges are-- I cannot confirm. There are several layers of paint on each, unsure if there are layers of original lead based paint used in the 1940s, but it is safe to assume they all do contain lead paint, and must be handled accordingly.
