Offered here are two pieces from my ethnic silver collection of over 50 years. These are bangles that a bride would wear as part of her wedding dowry as traditionally necessary for a bride from Bagheli Thacker in Madhya Pradesh. They're documented, measure about 2 inches by 2 inches, have some bells added, some missing, but the work to the domes is all original, all regional, all authentic. Wedding dowry not only meant it was handed down to the bride, but paid by the groom to the bride, or her family, so that in the future, the bride could use it to supply her house. I don't know the silver content.
