Vintage art deco glass ball ashtray on cast iron pedestal. Glass is thick and pinkish; fits snugly into the base. There is a cigarette rest at the top of the glass ball. The glass ball is about 3.25\" wide. The base is cast iron with a leaf-like pattern holding the glass with what appears to be an apple design on the base. The base is about 4.5\" wide. The height of the item is about 5\". This item originated in the Ohio Valley and is believed to be Jefferson Glass, Follansbee, WV. No identification markings were found on the glass ball or the base. Possibly made in the 1920\'s.
