Authentic Vintage Gucci Tan Leather Eyeglass / Readers or Pen Case with GG Logo For Sale

This listing is for an authentic vintage Gucci eyeglass case which has also been marketed to function as an elegant luxury pen sleeve. - This piece is specifically from the iconic 1970’s Gucci Accessory Collection era. During this time eyeglasses and sunglasses were typically slim and/or foldable. Although when closed it’s 6.5” long, it’s only 2.5” wide and basically up-to 1” thick (please see photos for what I mean). - Although modern-day, relatively large sunglasses are unlikely to fit in this case, it’s perfect for slimmer eyewear. I think it’d be a perfect case for reader-glasses! (If your eyesight is going with age and are nervous about pulling out readers in public — pull them out of this! It’ll totally distract everyone!) - This case was also meant to dual-function as a pen holder and can fit several of them (depending on their width). The flap that snaps onto the front is long enough to hide a long pen pocket-clip, keeping things looking neat and elegant. - When closed, on the asymmetrical front flap displays the iconic circular gold-tone metal interlocking GG logo, which has a truly beautiful brown tortoiseshell enamel inlay - The exterior of this item is made of genuine, tan- or camel-colored nappa leather with matching-colored stitching. The interior flap is made of smooth black leather, which is stamped with the period-specific gold-foil script emblem stating “MADE IN ITALY BY Gucci.” The interior pocket is made of durable and lustrous ribbed brown faille fabric. - This eyeglass or pen case was only lightly used and then put away in storage for a long time. The item itself LOOKS new, with the GG logo remaining shiny and intact. The leather a slight vintage patina to it, but with NO localized worn down areas. - No returns are accepted.
