Blood Simple marked the feature film debut of Academy Award-winning filmmakers Joel and Ethan Coen and is widely regarded as one of the most influential independent films of the 1980s. Original first-release Circle Films one-sheets are considerably scarcer than posters for the Coen Brothers\' later films and have become increasingly sought after by movie poster and film memorabilia collectors.
