Up for sale is an original 1982 Bally Midway TRON upright arcade machine — a true piece of classic arcade history and an excellent addition to any game room, collection, or TRON fan's home arcade.
Condition
The machine is fully working and plays properly. The monitor, controls, game play, sounds, and lighting are all functioning. All cabinet lights and blacklights are working, giving the cabinet that iconic TRON glow.
The power supply has been replaced with a new power supply, providing reliable operation.
As with any original arcade cabinet that is over 40 years old, there is some age-appropriate cosmetic wear from years of use. There are areas of wear to the exterior/cabinet finish, which can be seen in the photos. Overall, it has the authentic look and character of an original vintage arcade machine. Please review all photos carefully and judge the cosmetic condition for yourself.

About the Game
Released by Bally Midway in 1982 and based on the Disney film TRON, TRON is one of the most recognizable arcade games of the golden age of video games.
The game features four different challenges inspired by the movie:
- Light Cycles — outmaneuver enemy cycles and force them to crash into walls or light trails.
- Tank Battle — battle enemy tanks in a maze while using the rotary control to aim your shots.
- Grid Bugs / I/O Tower — fight through swarms of Grid Bugs and reach the I/O Tower before time runs out.
- MCP Cone — blast your way through the rotating MCP shield and enter the center.
You must complete all four challenges to advance, with the difficulty increasing as you progress.
The original TRON cabinet is particularly famous for its fluorescent artwork and blacklight illumination, which gives it an unmistakable glowing appearance in a dark game room.
