Offered is a rare WW1 U.S. Marine Corps 5th Regiment, 2nd Div. AEF table medal for winning the "INTER-COMPANY BASKETBALL CHAMPIONSHIP" in 1918. The medal is in its original fitted case from Spaulding Jewelers, Paris, France. The lid has separated from the base. The medal is nicely hand-engraved on 7 lines: 5TH REGIMENT/2ND DIVISION/A.E.F.
