Bosch Miter Lock Knob 1609B02377 GCM12SD Miter Saw 3-601-F65-010 w/Nut & Washer For Sale

I am an avid wood worker and furniture maker, I\'m also a mechanical designer. I bought my Bosch Miter Saw from a pawn shop and never noticed that the Miter lock knob wasn\'t installed, until I needed a non-detented angled cut. So I figured I\'d buy one. Problem is the design changed from my earlier saw (revision 3-601-F65-010) to the newer saw (revision 3-601-F65-011).The knobs for the earlier model are no longer available and are not compatible with the newer model saw.
Originally there was a long rod with a \"D\" shape and it was threaded on the end to accept this knob. The newer version has one half of that rod molded into the knob and a second half of that rod kind of floating in the saw.
So I designed a replacement and 3D print them from Carbon Filled PETG They are very tough and have a 1 year warranty.
The picture shows the knob installed on my saw. The factory cap (if you have it) also snaps into the front of the knob. But I don\'t include the cap.
This Knob comes with a Stainless M8 x1.25 Nylock Nut, and the M8 Stainless Washer. (The parts stores whack you about $5 each for these).
Do NOT believe anyone telling you they have or can get an original knob.They are discontinued from Bosch and no longer available.I\'m warning you. If you order an original you will get a letter like this:
