Brad Paisley Inspired Telecaster - Custom Built - Premium Pickups - 4 Way Switch For Sale

This is a high quality custom built guitar inspired by Brad Paisley’s legendary Telecaster. It’s not an exact replica but is a tribute to his original. Although it is equipped with many Fender parts it’s not a Fender brand guitar. I built it myself. Both the body and neck were sanded, painted and finished by hand. The pickguard and its artwork were also constructed by hand. You’ll never see another one exactly like it. This guitar would be a great addition for a Brad Paisley fan or any musician looking to add a high quality instrument to their collection that doesn’t cost a fortune. Here are a few of the details:

• It has a basswood body with a sparkled silver paint job that is protected under a coat of clear coat. Some of the wood grain texture was intentionally left while sanding the body prior to painting. It can be slightly seen under the finish giving the guitar a bit of a rustic appearance. The body has been artificially relic’d to resemble Paisley‘s original guitar. The guitar weighs in at 6.4 lbs. It\'s very comfortable to play while standing.

• The maple neck has a light oil finish giving it a smooth satin feel. The neck has modern C shape profile with a 9.5\" radius and 21 medium jumbo frets. The frets are leveled, polished and smoothly rolled over at the ends.

• The guitar is equipped with a set of Fender Pure Vintage \'64 pickups. They are designed to replicate the mid-1960s tone and are some of the most well rounded premium Telecaster pickups available.They are ideal for playing country, the blues, or 60\'s rock.

• The volume and tone are each controlled by full sized 250K pots. The tone pot is wired to a large orange drop capacitor. Unlike most standard Telecasters, the guitar is equipped with a 4 way selector switch. Positions 1 - 3 act the same as standard 3 way switch: 1 - Bridge, 2 - Bridge + Neck in Parallel, 3 - Neck. The 4th position turns on the Bridge + Neck in series. This series configuration behaves similarly to a humbucker, delivering a hotter, darker, and much beefier tone with a significant boost in output. Most players are aware of the drop in output when switching to the 2nd position. The 4th is the exact opposite. Unlike the pickups being in parallel which decreases their output considerably, series means both pickups are playing at their full output. The output is equipped with a high quality Switchcraft audio jack.

• The guitar is equipped with a vintage Fender bridge which has the “Pat. Pend“ stamp and brass saddles.

• The headstock is equipped with high quality, Schaller style locking tuners with a 1:16 gear ratio. They turn smoothly, are extremely precise and provide excellent tuning stability. Also equipped is a single roller type string tree and mushroom head strap buttons. The guitar will arrive strung with brand new Ernie Ball Super Slinky 9-42 strings.

• The guitar does not come with a case but will be securely packaged and shipped in a heavy-duty guitar shipping box.
