This limited edition, Warner Bros cel is one of five, know as "The Director Series". Each of the five cels is hand painted, limited edition cels developed to commemorate the work of WB most noted Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies cartoon directors. This image was re-created from Robert McKimson's Merrie Melodies cartoon Heckling Hare!. This scene features, Bugs in a rare disconcerted moment, as he says, "Take a little map in a parrot patch and next thing I know I'm here!"
This limited edition cel began will a drawing by Dan Haskett, re-creatred from the original animation. From this drawing Laurie Dindis mad a master inking, which was then serigraph screen printed onto an accetate sheet, along with the background re-proudcted using the lithograhy process on acid free paper. The cel is then panted on the reverse side, in an edition size of 500.
Cel has the WB seal in the right, bottom corner, and the WB COA, dated 1999 and signed by Ruth Clampett, VP President, Creative director, WB Studio Store Design.
