This item is no longer offered by GM and is only offered as a reproduction. As of this listing we know of two manufacturersfor these valves. One is very cheaply made and the other that we carry meets or exceeds factory specifications and has been in production for over 20 years. A simple way to tell them apart is the metal air tube connection will be beveled on the higher end valve but on the lower end valve it will be just a straight unfinished cut.
The Headlight Actuator Relay installs in between the headlight assemblies and controls the vacuum circuits to extend or retract the headlight actuator to open or close the headlights. This Vacuum Relay Valve serves the same purpose to control the operation of the 1968-1972 Windshield Wiper Door.

1968-1969 used just one relay for the headlights in center of nose near the hood along with one for the wipers located on right fender. 1970-1972 used 2 relays for headlights and one on firewall or fender well for the wiper door. 1973-1982 used a total of 2 relays for the headlights as the windshield wiper door was no longer an and handling is FREE for anyone in the lower 48 states. UNITED STATES SHIPMENTS:
All U.S. orders in the lower-48 ships FREE. Most orders to APO, HI, AK and PR also ships FREE but some of our larger items may have a shipping surcharge due to the much higher cost to ship to those locations. All orders ship First Class, Priority Mail or UPS depending on size and weight. Shipping times average 2-10 days but may take up to 18 days.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS:
We only ship international orders through \'s Global Shipping Program. Any questions or concerns prior or after an order is placed regarding shipping, please contact directly. International customers are responsible for all duty and brokerage fees.
ALL SHIPMENTS:

We will accept all returns for a full 30 days from your delivery date on all items we offer. Returns must be in its new unused condition and include all the original factory packaging. All returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee, if an error was on the seller side the 15% restocking fee will be waived. Please include username with your return. Once the return is received we will inspect it and issue the refund within 48 hours. We will also exchange any damaged item within the first 30 days.
