Flower Market is a large-scale immersive art installation by Australian hyperrealist artist CJ Hendry. First staged in New York, the installation transforms an architectural space into an overwhelming sensory environment filled with plush, oversized flowers — each one designed with the obsessive attention to texture and detail that has made Hendry one of the most recognised artists working today.
The Hong Kong edition is housed in a greenhouse-style pavilion on the Central Harbourfront, with Victoria Harbour visible beyond the glass. Inside, visitors will find more than 150,000 plush flowers across 26 distinct designs — soft, tactile and rendered with Hendry\'s signature hyperrealistic precision.
Who Is CJ Hendry?
CJ Hendry is an Australian contemporary artist based in New York, best known for her hyperrealistic ballpoint pen drawings and large-scale experiential installations. She first gained widespread attention through social media, where time-lapse videos of her drawings attracted millions of views. She has since developed a practice that operates at the intersection of fine art and large-scale public experience.
Her previous major installations include a full-scale recreation of a New York flower market in Brooklyn and a swimming pool filled with 90,000 monochromatic objects set against the Mojave Desert. Flower Market Hong Kong will be her first major project in Asia.

The Hong Kong-Exclusive Works
Two pieces were created specifically for the Hong Kong edition of Flower Market and are not available anywhere else:
The Henderson Flower was commissioned to mark the 50th anniversary of Henderson Land, the Hong Kong property group presenting the installation. It references the petal-derived architecture of The Henderson, the group\'s flagship commercial tower in Central designed by Zaha Hadid Architects.
The Bauhinia is a rendering of Hong Kong\'s emblem flower in Hendry\'s signature plush medium. It is the most locally resonant work in the exhibition and one of the most discussed pieces of Hong Kong Art Month 2026.
