F5 is our newest upgrade: 2-in-1 knob, screw-free design, built-in wind shield, and 3-level adjustable handle. AY132 is the classic model with separate dials and traditional design. Both deliver the same 1.32 GPM and 34,000 BTU.
🔋 Does F5 need electricity?
No. It runs on 2 D batteries (not included) for ignition. Batteries last about 6 months. No AC power required.
🌬️ How well does the wind shield work?
The built-in top wind shield deflects light winds and prevents flame blowout. For heavy winds, position the heater with its back to the wind.
🧊 How do I winterize it?
Open the drain valve, disconnect water lines, and store indoors. F5 and AY132 both have anti-freeze protection, but draining is best.
📦 What’s included with F5?
F5 heater, 5 ft CSA gas regulator, 5 ft shower kit with ON/OFF, hardware pack, user manual. Batteries and propane tank not included.
🏔️ Can F5 work at high elevation?
Yes, but efficiency drops about 10% per 1,000 feet above 2,000 ft. Ensure adequate gas supply.
