This is an original signed print titled "Tahitian Ghosts (Tupapas) " by Charles Surendorf, produced circa 1940s. 9x11 inches, framed and ready to be displayed.
The frame measures 13.5x17.5 inches. Please see photos of the frame. It’s been framed for many decades. This was inherited 40 years ago and was framed on my great uncle’s wall for many, many years prior.
We reached out to the Charles Surendorf Foundation for information about the piece. They told us that it was an original print from circa 1939-1949. It is signed in pencil by the artist and has Ed/100 to represent it is a limited edition print of 100.
