The dress measures 56\" in length and the sleeves measure 17 \" from underarm to cuff. Unstretched the chest measures 36\", but the pleating makes the sizing flexible. I fit into easily with a 44\" bust, and I am larger than the model here The front decorative pleated panel has an inner panel to support the design. The neckline measures 14\" across. The sleeves are finished with a smooth silk and button closure; the hem is similar to a lettuce edge
Charles (RIP) and Patricia Lester are known for their one-of-a kind handmade garments, particularly those using Fortuny- style pleating and decorative beadwork.
