Up for sale is a fantastic 3-issue lot of classic Bronze Age horror anthologies published by Charlton Comics. This lot includes three distinct titles featuring incredible artwork and stories from some of the industry\'s most legendary creators.Issues Included:
- Scary Tales #5 (April 1976): Features a striking cover illustrated by legendary Spider-Man co-creator Steve Ditko, as well as interior artwork by Ditko for the final short story, \"What\'s Inside Roger?\".
- Ghost Manor #33 (September 1977): Features stories written by Nicola Cuti with a beautifully eerie gothic cover and interior art detailed by Enrique Nieto.
- Ghostly Tales #137 (August 1979): Features a dramatic cover by fan-favorite artist Jim Aparo and excellent interior artwork by Steve Ditko for the story \"The Fire-Phantasm.\"
Condition:
The comics are in overall Very Good (VG) to Fine (FN) condition. They have been gently read and well-preserved. Covers retain a nice amount of their original gloss and color vibrancy. Spines are flat and intact with typical light spine ticks and minor creasing along the edges. Corners show minor blunting, and back covers display uniform, vintage tanning/yellowing consistent with mid-to-late 1970s newsprint. There are no major splits, heavy stains, or cutout pieces.
