Indie niche perfumer Vero Kern of Vero Profumo once wrote: \"I go my own way hundred percent and do not follow any trends. I’m looking for originality, opulence and eroticism in scents. They have to surprise and to touch me. I’m not interested in ‘clean’ scents; I need characterful scents both in my creations but also as wearer.\"
Vero Kern tweaked slightly her original extrait de parfum formulas for her Eau de Parfum versions, including Ondo to which she added passion fruit in order to create an animalic muskiness.
According to Luckyscent, the notes in Onda EDP are:
Bergamot, citron, mandarin, ginger, coriander, basil, passion fruit, iris, ylang-ylang, honey, vetiver Bourbon, patchouli, musk, cedar wood.
My 50 ml or 1.7 fl oz bottle from 2013 has been sprayed twice. It was given to me as a gift & I\'m loathe to sell it since Ms. Kern died and her fragrances are not (to my knowledge) being kept up or reproduced by her former partner(s) except in one limited 2021 edition in the \"Voiles\" (lighter??) format in new black bottles and potentially with a different formula.
I don\'t see the EDP like mine in the translucent glass bottle being currently sold anywhere in stores.
My bottle was sprayed twice. Its cap fits firmly, and it\'s in great shape. You can see its juice level in the photos.
Its box, however, has suffered from time, despite being rarely touched and being stored in a dark, cool place. As you can see from the photos, the faux PU leather material (or whatever the thin material on the box is) has peeled off in places on all the sides, the corners, the bottom, and even inside the box. I have no explanation as the box has not been touched in years. I think it\'s just covered in cheap PU leather that eventually peels.
Please see my photos so that you can make your own determination about the box, its condition, and the fragrance bottle itself.
It is sold \"As Is.\"
My mother died last week and medical & funeral bills are why I\'m selling things that I had hoped to keep.
