Mother even Embroidered an image of her dear little boy, Joseph. Either his first name, or last name, began with a \"C\". Mother Cut the fabric \"C\", and handstitched it on. So endearing. As is typical with Crazy Quilts, the background is mostly Black Fabrics. Then Handsewn with brighter color Fabrics. Lots of fancy Hand Embroidery work. A wiggly Snake, red Pipe, Clovers, Flowers, Goose, Fork, Birds, Hearts
Leaves and many more. These are among the decorations Handsewn, onto the Quilt. Mostly things little Boys like. The Back is lovely Chintz Fabric. Mostly Blues. This unique Quilt was pieced together, using various fabrics taken from clothing. Velvets, silks and Satins, are among some. A delightful way to have preserved their family history. RARE and quite Extroidenary. A CHARMER. The Quilt measures approximately 76\"× 72\". Good Antique condition. Typical Crazy Quilt wear, with imperfections and tears, on the patches of satin and silk.
