I bought these records as a job lot and I'm no real expert on shellac records. A distant acquaintance told me that, after cleaning, almost all shellac records can be played again, and that there are special cleaning methods for them. However, I have neither the time nor, above all, the practice to get the records into proper condition. Please therefore note the following:
- The shellac records have NOT been cleaned, so they may well be quite dusty/dirty.
- All records show signs of use; most have scratches.
- As a rule I have made sure there is no chip on the record (unless stated separately).
- If a record is absolutely not to the customer's satisfaction: PLEASE LET US KNOW and we will find a solution!
- As I am a dealer, the records may also be returned. However, please notify us as quickly as possible if a record is unusable.
- The records are shipped in a plain cardboard sleeve.
- I have taken photos of both sides of the labels, since the pressing etc. is sometimes important. All key information should be visible there.
