Very RARE VINTAGE 1880\'s David Clark Hill Climber Train Engine 13\" mostly wood and an 1877 W.S.R.T. Co. Lone Star Train
Folks, you have before you two (2) toy trains which are over a 140-years old!! - AND YOU GET BOTH!!!

Nice stencil graphics on the top, hand painted, all original.

• Materials: These toys featured a mixed-media design, often utilizing a wood engine body/hull, stamped tin/pressed steel for the cab, and heavy cast-iron wheels.
• The \"Hillclimber\" Mechanism: Instead of running on traditional tracks, these toys were pushed across the floor to build momentum. The momentum activated a central cast-iron flywheel or weighted spinning gear. This kinetic friction drive allowed the toy to roll smoothly across floors and travel up slight inclines.

The engine is in very nice condition for being over a century old - AND it works.
