Meticulously built by hand by the seller\'s great-grandfather for his daughter c. 1915, this piece is a striking example of primitive vernacular woodcraft, showcasing incredible attention to detail.Constructed using natural, bark-on split branches to simulate real logs, giving it a beautifully tactile and raw aesthetic. Features a prominent, individually log-stacked chimney, a ribbed half-log roof, and a uniquely framed vertical twig door. The cabin roof lifts off the base structure, revealing the hand-hewn internal framework. In excellent vintage/antique condition with a gorgeous, naturally aged patina. Sturdy construction with all original character intact.
