Early Vintage Stanley 28" Brass Bound Exotic Wood Level W/ Good Vials 1890's Pat
Up for sale is an early Stanley 28" brass bound level. Level weighs 3lbs unpacked and is made of a dense exotic wood. My best guess is this is a rosewood Model No. 96, but I cannot say with 100% certainty. Level has two good vials, both intact and holding fluid. Has previous owners' names on the butt ends and has early brass ends. Has three 1890s patent dates stamped on brass, see in pics.
Level is solid and a good working level but does have some wear, scratches, and small imperfections in the wood.
