Very good to excellent pre-owned collectible condition overall.
The red leather bindings remain bright and attractive, with strong gilt decoration and lettering. The books display very well as a complete set. Bindings appear tight from the photographs.
The gilt page edges remain bright but show light surface scratches, rubbing and handling marks in places, visible in the detailed photographs. Ribbon markers are present, with some extending beyond the page blocks. Minor shelf and handling wear may be present on the leather bindings.
