Ermenegildo Zegna unstructured blazer in navy. Made in Italy, tagged 50 R (US 40 R). Soft, deconstructed build with patch pockets - it reads much more like a Boglioli K-jacket than a formal sport coat, and wears about as easily as a shirt jacket.
A NOTE ON THE TAGS: the interior size tag has mostly worn away. What is still legible reads 50 R, DROP 7 and a matricola number. The fabric content line is gone. The hand and the fine herringbone weave read as cotton or a cotton/linen blend, with what looks like cupro lining in the sleeves, but that is an impression, not a claim. The tag is photographed close up so you can judge it yourself.

CONDITION: very good apart from the cuff buttons. One cuff has three horn buttons and a fourth empty buttonhole with the threads still in place, and the other cuff has two buttons with two empty buttonholes. So depending on how the jacket was originally specced the pair is missing either one button or three. It is shown close up. Everything else is clean - no holes, no stains, no wear at the elbows or hem.
