Ethan Allen Large Ginger Jar with Handles. Beautiful porcelain jar in Asian/Indian style has metal (likely brass) accents: embossed base, elephant on the lid, and curved handles with a leaf motif. Palm trees and landscape motifs decorate the body and lid. Has a Satsuma-style crackly glaze. Owner purchased at Ethan Allen about 20 years ago; sticker on rubbery covered bottom has date 12/30/05 and a slit along one side. In excellent condition, no chips or cracks. Heavy jar weighs almost 9 pounds and measures about 15” tall and 12” across at handles. Please see all photos of this lovely piece.
