Up for sale is a gorgeous, early US pressing of Frank Zappa’s surrealist orchestral-rock masterpiece, 200 Motels, featuring The Mothers of Invention and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. Both vinyl discs are in stunning Excellent (EX) to Near Mint (NM) condition with almost no visible wear.
The iconic gatefold jacket is in sturdy, Excellent (EX) condition with no seam splits, crisp edges, and remarkably minimal ring wear—a rarity for this notoriously fragile, dark cover artwork. Please note that this copy features a clean, diagonal manufacturer's cut corner on the jacket, signifying its origin as a 1971 promotional/cut-out copy, and it does not include the original lyric booklet or poster insert.
This is an absolute must-have "play-grade" upgrade for any serious Zappa archivist looking for pristine 1971 analog sound quality.
