FULPER POTTERY, ANTIQUE VERDI PIN TRAY, VERY EARLY FORM, NICE EARLY GLAZE~~~ For Sale

For sale is a wonderful Art and Crafts pin or dresser tray made by The Fulper Pottery Company of Flemington, NJ. This pin tray is done in one of Fulper Pottery's nicest arts and crafts glazes called "Verte Antique". This dresser tray is a nice petite size as it measures 5" in diameter and is 1 1/2" tall. The foot has a diameter of 2 1/8".
This pin tray displays a tapered squat shallow bowl shape. The glaze is very organic. The background glaze is a moss green with a green/brown flambe' glaze that is applied at the top lip area. This glaze is primarily around the top lip and bleeds over into the inside well. On the inside of the well you can see a lighter green waterproofing glaze with the flambe' glaze runs. I have also had this glaze referred to as Matte Green or Green Flambe'.
The pin tray is considered to be in excellent condition as there are no cracks, nicks, chips or dings. The piece is marked on the underside bottom with Fulper's earliest ink stamp "Fulper" inside a rectangle signature mark. This was Fulper's earliest period and was know as the Vasekraft years. This mark was used from 1909-1916. This glaze is one of the more popular to own in Fulper Pottery. This is close to shape number 027 in the Fulper Pottery Catalog and is simply described as a "bowl. This one is slightly smaller than the catalog size of 5 1/2".
This is a nice example of this form and glaze from Fulper. I'm quite sure the buyer will be very pleased with their purchase. This would look Great on that Stickley, Mission, Arts and Crafts style bookcase.

I want to apologize for slowing down my shipping time. forced me into managed payments in July 2020.I used to get my money in 24 hours. I now get it in 3-4 business days. They are also now charging all sellersa commission of 12.70%on sales tax. Pay Pal used to charge 2.9% payment processing feebut has changed this to 12.70%. This is an increase of 9.80% on the sales tax portion. They are now making a profit on the sales tax and treating it as a sale which in my eyes is wrong!! They did the same on the shipping charges several years ago. They use to not charge anything and now theyare charging 12.70% commission on shipping as well. This has raised the cost to ship items to you, the buyer and this is factored into my shipping charges.

If you feel what is doing is wrong or you don't agree them please contact and voice your opinion. Maybe if enough of you do this, they will change their policy.
