Thiis is a fabulous rare Frederick Cooper lamp that stands to the top of the finial a tad over 32 inches. You are purchasing one in this sale, but I do have two available for sale. it takes a 3 way bulb and works perfectly. I don\'t want the bulb to break, so it will not be included. It is hard to believe this lamp is over 40 years old.
Both lamps are in mint condition: free of any chips, cracks, breaks, dents, or repairs. It features a beautiful gold bird, that to me, looks like a hummingbird, and she is landing in her nest. I had a hummingbird nest outside my bedroom window and it looked just like it. The base looks like tree roots, and the the lamp column is the trunk of a tree. There are also branches and leaves. These are heavy lamps with intricate details.
The shade is original and has a bottom diameter of 21 inches and stands 13 inches tall, and is also in mint condition. Both shades are marked, Frederick Cooper, as photographed. On the base of one it did have a Frederick Cooper sticker that was very loose when I purchased this, but I cannot find it. Both of the lamps are marked as photographed, with Frederick Cooper stickers, I removed one harp to make it easier for you to see.
If you take a look at the photos 4-7 these are photos of the other lamp that I have. They are exactly a like, but wanted you to know that you are seeing both lamps. You are receiving one lamp in this sale, but welcome to purchase both of them.
I could only find one that is selling currently for $1300. You can purchase two for about the same price as one that is selling now. See the last few photos. I am going to have to mail this lamp base in a very large box. It is 36\" by 12 by 12. The shade is going to come in a separate box that is 24 by 24 by 15. It will be expensive to mail to you, so for this reason I am pricing this lamp at a low price to help you with the shock of shipping. If you purchase both, I may be able to put both bases in the one box, and put two lamp shades in the one box. I will not guarantee this, but will refund you any overage in shipping if they can be mailed together. This lamp is much to expensive to mail for me to consider allowing returns, just to take a look at it. This will be a no return item.
