Technically known as the M1884/98 Third Pattern, these bayonets were manufactured for use with the 8mm Mauser Kar 98 rifle of the Second World War. It has wood grips. WWII era manufacture markings on ricasso and scabbard throat. Measures15" overall. It has a 9-7/8" 1095 high carbon steel blade with blued finish. Blade is properly tempered to hold a razor edge. Dark brown wood handles with blued finish fittings. Blued steel sheath. This bayonet is reproduced in exacting detail from a mid-WWII original and fits German, Yugoslavian, Czech and most K-98 clones.A fully functional WWII German 98k bayonet replica.
